- I am a colon and rectal surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group, specializing in the treatment of disorders of the lower gastrointestinal tract. I am board certified in surgery and surgical critical care by the American Board of Surgery, and in colorectal surgery by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. I am a clinical associate professor at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
I graduated from Yale University, and attended medical school at New York University. I completed my residency in general surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian/ Columbia University, and subsequently completed a fellowship in colorectal surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.
My practice focuses on the operative management of colorectal disease, including cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis, pelvic floor dysfunction, and anorectal conditions. I am skilled in the performance of minimally invasive surgery, and I use laparoscopy and robotic surgery whenever indicated.
