Summary
- I am a Board Certified orthopedic surgeon with an additional fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. My practice is focused on the problems of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. I specialize in treatment of acute and chronic problems of the upper extremity, including fractures, sprains, lacerations, tendon and nerve injuries in adults and children.
I have a special interest and extensive experience in such minimally invasive procedures as endoscopic carpal and cubital tunnel release, arthroscopy of the wrist, as well as treatment of complex fractures of the wrist, elbow and shoulder.
Some common office procedures that I perform are ultrasound-guided injections for carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, DeQuervain's tendinitis, tennis and golfer's elbow and injections of Xiaflex for Dupuytren's contractures.
My approach to the patient care is based strongly on current evidence-based medicine, yet it is individualized for you as a person, with specific needs and requirements of your profession or athletic activity. I pride myself on optimal pain management for my patients, using a variety of most current treatment options. I strive to find the optimal individualized solution to your problem with a warm and compassionate approach.
