Bay Van Nguyen obtained his Baccalaureate Degrees (both Part I and Part II) and his APM (Anné Pre-Medical) Degree, in Saigon, Vietnam; his B.A. Degree in Chemistry at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas; his M.S. and Ph.D. Degrees in Molecular Genetics at the GSBS (UT Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences) in Texas Medical Center, Houston, Texas; and his M.D. Degree at the UT Medical School in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Nguyen received his Medical Residency Training in Tulsa, Oklahoma and his Fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Texas Medical Center, Houston, Texas.
Dr. Nguyen did research for his M.S. Thesis and for his Ph.D. Dissertation in Recombinant DNA’s. He published his Clinical Chemotherapy Research in Cancer Treatment Report and in Cancer Chemotherapy Pharmacology. He lectured at the American Society for Microbiology, the Tulsa Medical Society, the Trinity University Chemistry Day of Learning and the Houston University at Clear Lake.
Dr. Bay Van Nguyen is a member in good standing of the AMA (American Medical Association), the TMA (Texas Medical Association), the TPS (Texas Pediatric Society) the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the HCMS (Harris County Medical Society), since 1982. He is a Medical Staff in good standing of the Christus St. John Hospital in Nassau Bay, Texas; the Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas and the Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Bay Van Nguyen has been an Assistant Clinical Professor in Pediatrics and in the Family and Community Department of Baylor College of Medicine, since 1999.
