• Bashir Ahmed, MD, MSPH is a board certified psychiatrist who completed his residency program at the University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Prior to residency, Dr. Ahmed completed his Master of Science in Public Health at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He designed, developed and implemented various research projects which contributed to his unique blend of experience in research and clinical psychiatry. Dr. Ahmed provides evidence-based treatments including, but not only limited to, treatment planning, individual therapy, medical psychotherapy and administration to both adults and senior adults. Currently, Dr. Ahmed provides psychiatric care at Medical City McKinney.
