Dr. Adeyefa is board certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine, completed his internship/residency training in Internal Medicine at Duke University Hospital, and fellowship training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Texas at Houston Health & Science Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Adeyefa believes quality care should always incorporate patient education, as it is important that patients understand the process of testing, diagnosing, and treatment options involved with their particular condition.

While Dr. Adeyefa enjoys the full scope of practice, he has special interests in colon cancer screening, Barrett's esophagus, GERD, IBS, and Liver diseases.
