Summary
- I have always liked working with my hands. As a teenager, I took Robotics courses for two years and created origami in my spare time. With my interest in science, I was advised to pursue medical school, where I quickly realized that the only choice for me was to become a surgeon. Following residency, I pursued a fellowship in minimally invasive, robotic and bariatric surgery to increase my technical abilities. I want to help guide my patients through what can be a confusing and often stressful time. Open communication and transparency are ways that I ensure my patients are as comfortable as possible with their care. I believe in taking care of patients as though they were my own family.
