Dr Khan completed his fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated comprehensive cancer center. He completed his residency at the University of South Florida, College of Medicine. During the course of his residency, he also trained at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.
