Dr. Awais Khan is an Oncologist/Hematologist. He is a highly ranked and experienced physician and well respected by his colleagues and patients. He specializes in Breast Cancer, Prostate/Genitourinary oncology, Gastrointestinal malignancies, Melanoma, Thoracic cancers, Hematological malignancies such as Myelodysplasia, Leukemias, and Lymphomas . He is experienced in complex Hematological and Oncologic cancers and employs latest therapies in his practice. Dr Khan completed his fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated comprehensive cancer center. He completed his residency at the University of South Florida, College of Medicine. During the course of his residency, he also trained at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.
Dr. Khan received the American Society of Hematology Research Award.
