Summary
- With diverse clinical interests, specific research interests in pediatric and gastrointestinal malignancies, and training in innovative radiotherapy treatment strategies, I am committed to providing comprehensive, safe, and collaborative care to my cancer patients.
The foundation of my medical education was set as a student at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. During residency at the Johns Hopkins Department of Radiation Oncology I was trained in the management paradigms of cancer patients and the technical skills of using image-guidance, intensity modulated radiation therapy, stereotactic radiation therapy, radiosurgery, and ultrasound- and MRI-guided brachytherapy to deliver radiation treatment. As a fellow in Advanced Radiation Modalities at University of Maryland, I have learned the technical, clinical, and operational considerations of proton therapy, hyperthermia therapy, and GammaPod therapy.
These trainings have given me an expansive toolbox to provide the most appropriate, personalized treatment for the individual patient.
