Summary

• I'm currently a Neurology PGY1 at UTSW. I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Maryland Medical School and from UCLA with a BS in Neuroscience and BA in Philosophy, receiving full-tuition scholarships at each of these institutions. I have 4 basic science research publications and am currently working on a 1st-author cross-sectional study investigating the clinical significance of contrast enhancing perivascular spaces on 7T MRI in MS. My subspecialty interests are Movement Disorders and Cognitive Neurology.
  
  In addition to my academic papers, I'm in the process of publishing a multi-disciplinary book targeted towards the general public about our concept of mind in the West, how it contributes to disassociation from our bodies, and how some of meditation's most significant but overlooked benefits stem from treating this disassociation. My hope is to continue blending neurology and psychiatry with philosophy as an author. I'm also interested in education and am working with the Neurology Department to develop a medical humanities course.
