  • Dr. Augustine Saiz is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Orthopaedic Trauma, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UC Davis Health. He received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He completed orthopaedic surgery residency at UC Davis Health followed by an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He specializes in orthopaedic trauma, especially in the treatment of pelvis and acetabulum injuries. He has an appointment as a physician-scientist as he mechanistically studies fracture healing, translational therapies, and conducts clinical research. He has presented his work at numerous international, national, and regional conferences. Additionally, he has received several grants and awards and has a strong publication record.
