- Audra Iness is in her final year of the MD-PhD program at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine. Audra obtained her PhD in Clinical and Translational Research, Cancer and Molecular Medicine in 2018 and is now in the clinical clerkship phase of the MD-PhD program. Under the mentorship of Dr. Larisa Litovchick, MD, PhD, Audra studied the oncoprotein B-Myb and its impact on cell cycle regulation by the transcriptional repressor complex, DREAM, in ovarian cancer.
