Summary
- I am a health economist and primary care physician at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and the Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies. My research broadly explores the life course determinants of adult health, human capital, and socioeconomic outcomes. My specific areas of interest are: (1) the origins of health and socioeconomic inequality and (2) behavioral responses to, and the economic consequences of, HIV prevention and treatment programs. I use insights from economic theory and methods from applied microeconomics to answer questions in these content areas.
