Ashish Anand, MD, DNB, is an American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery certified, Staff Orthopedic Surgeon at GV Montgomery VA medical center Jackson ,MS. He also serves as Associate Clinical Prof at Dept of Orthopedics, University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS. He is a Professor at William Carey Osteopathic School of Medicine, Hattiesburg since July 2016. In his Current assignment he is involved in care Direct patient care as well as is involved in teaching activities with residents, RN and PAs. He is also involved in research activities, which enables him to stay abreast with cutting edge technology. He specializes in Adult Reconstruction of Hip and Knee and arthroscopic surgery of shoulder and Knee.. Dr. Anand was instrumental in starting the Sports Medicine Program at Wockhardt Hospitals, Bengaluru, India. He has significant number of publications in national and international journals of repute. Dr. Anand has presented lectures as a faculty both at national and international levels. He is life member of Indian Orthopedic Association, Indian Arthroscopic Association, Indian Arthroplasty Association, Indian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons and associate member of American Orthopedic Association. He has published seventeen book chapters and has authored fifteen books as an Editor.
