- I am currently consultant neurologist at the Ashford Hospital in San Juan, PR and clinical neurophysiologist at the Puerto Rico Medical Center EEG laboratory, with almost 30 years of experience. My primary active areas of expertise are movement disorders, behavioral neurology/dementia, and degenerative diseases, but I am also very interested in neurological paraneoplastic syndromes and infections of the nervous system.
I have served also as medical-legal expert witness in the state court and the local federal court, in both plaintiff and defendant sides. I have served as consultant for several pharmaceutical companies, and I am an active lecturer in multiple topics related mostly to dementia, behavioral neurology, and movement disorders.
