- Arthur Carminucci, MD is part of Summit Medical Group’s Spine Surgery team. Dr. Carminucci treats degenerative conditions of the spine, neck and back pain, sciatica, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, spine fractures, and spine tumors using various techniques, including decompressive laminectomy, microdiscectomies, and instrumented spinal fusion.
Dr. Carminucci’s clinical expertise also covers a broad spectrum of neurosurgery, including specialized training in the treatment of brain tumors and minimally invasive endoscopic techniques for the treatment of pituitary tumors. Additional advanced training includes the use of awake craniotomies and motor mapping for brain tumors located in eloquent areas, image-guided stereotactic techniques such as minimally invasive Laser Interstitial Therapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery to treat brain and pituitary tumors. He also treats neurological pain disorders using spinal cord stimulation as well as surgical and radiosurgical treatment of trigeminal neuralgia.
