- Dr. Arnoley (Arney) Abcejo is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology, Chair of the Division of Neuroanesthesiology and Radiology for the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. He completed residency in anesthesiology at Mayo Clinic and Neuroanesthesiology fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. Dr. Abcejo is an American Board of Anesthesiology Diplomat. He serves as the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation Website Medical Director. He is the Associate Program Director for the Neuroanesthesiology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic. His research interests include neuroanesthesiology, perioperative patient safety, communications in healthcare and medical education, concussion, venous air embolism and anesthetic practice for radiologic procedures. He has served as Communications Chair for the Society of Neuroanesthesia and Critical Care. He currently serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Neuroanesthesiology. He has published over 30 peer reviewed publications and was award an APSF grant. He has been awarded several multi-disciplinary teaching awards.
