Summary

  • I practice general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry using talk therapy, medication management. Suboxone and Probuphine (implantable) are prescribed to treat opiate use disorder and for relapse prevention. Sublocade (monthly subcutaneous injection) for opiate use disorder is coming in March 2018 and will be provided in office. Vivitrol is currently provided in office, it is a monthly anti-craving injection which helps in addiction recovery. Patients receive sophisticated outpatient detox, stabilization and maintenance treatments for alcohol, xanax, opiates, cannabis, cocaine and crystal methamphetamine. Patients receive a second opinion in refining controlled substance medication regimens. Students and adults are evaluated and treated for ADHD. Psychological testing covers 16 cognitive categories of thinking. Genetic testing finds the right regimen based on your metabolism. Behavioral addictions such as gambling, video game, pornography and sex/love addiction are treated with motivational interviewing and Naltrexone anti-craving medication.   
    Psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and family & couples therapy are applied with med management. Customized guided meditations and non-prescription/natural medications are applied to optimize allopathic medications while diminishing side effects.
