  • I am a psychiatrist and preventive medicine physician. My clinical specialties include adolescent and young adult psychiatry, first episode psychosis, and emergency psychiatry. I also work in community engagement and health education. From 2017 to 2020, I worked for New York City's Kings County Hospital and Bellevue Hospital, while teaching residents and students at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and NYU School of Medicine. During that time, I specialized in Emergency Psychiatry and First Episode Psychosis Currently. Currently, I am Director of Psychiatric Services for The Door (New York, NY www.door.org), Director of Public Psychiatry Education for SUNY Downstate College of Medicine Department of Psychiatry, and a Medical Officer for the US Department of Health and Human Services.
