Dr. Arene Butto is a pediatric cardiologist based in Atlanta, GA, specializing in pediatric cardiac critical care, pediatric heart failure, and heart transplantation. She completed fellowships in pediatric cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital/Boston Medical Center and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where she also completed her residency in pediatrics. Dr. Butto currently serves as the Medical Director of the Ventricular Assist Device Program at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta since 2019 and has experience in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. Her research includes several publications in notable medical journals, and she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in 2011.
