Summary
- Performing cutting edge treatment for prostate cancer. Using advanced MRI and laser technology, we are able to localize the prostate cancer, place a 1.85 mm laser fiber directly into the cancer, and kill cancer cells while monitoring temperature changes with the MRI to minimize collateral damage. MRI guided focal laser ablation is an outpatient procedure that has a significantly lower risk of side effects compared with traditional prostate cancer therapies.
