- I am a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist. I have completed 15 years of active duty service in the U.S. Navy as a full-scope OB/GYN. I have worked in a myriad of clinical settings including major academic medical centers, family medicine teaching hospitals, a small overseas hospital, a remote community hospital, a Red Cross ship, and a warship. While remaining clinically active, I have served in various leadership positions such as Director of Surgical Services, Medical Director of Labor and Delivery at the largest obstetrical unit in the Department of Defense, and Department Head.
