- Dev Appannagari Gnanadev, MD is a trauma, vascular and general surgeon based in Colton, CA. He has a wealth of experience spanning trauma and surgical critical care, general and gastrointestinal surgery, hernia surgery and abdominal wall reconstruction, foregut surgery, and geriatric surgery. Dr. Gnanadev received his degree from Kurnool Medical College in 1972, completed his residency in Surgery from 1974 to 1979 at Rutgers Health/New Jersey Medical School and cardio-vascular surgery fellowship at Arizona Heart Institute in 1980. He is board certified and recertified in vascular surgery, general surgery and surgical critical care. He has contributed to publications, including articles in Annals of Vascular Surgery, Journal of Trauma, and Stroke. He has been Chair of Department of Surgery at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (previously San Bernardino County Medical Center) since 1989. He created California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), a not for profit University with MD School in Colton, CA and served as the Founding President and CEO from 2012-2019. He was the President of California Medical Association (CMA) 2008-09 and President of the Medical Board of California (MBC) from 2016-18.
