She graduated at the top of her class obtaining many preeminent undergraduate awards for her distinctive academic performance. Her research interests are in novel treatments and clinical trials in neurological cancers and paraneoplastic syndromes. She is co-founder to a mentoring project at Mayo Clinic called MENTORS. The project facilitates mentorship opportunities between residents (mentors) and medical students (mentees) in a low stress environment.
