Dr. Leung earned his undergraduate degree in microbiology from Washington State University and his medical degree from Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his post-graduate medical education at the Cleveland Clinic from 2000 to 2006.
Since 2019, Dr. Leung has been involved with the American Board of Internal Medicine as an item-writer for the infectious disease examination. He also contributes to the American Board of Pathology Certlink section for medical microbiology since 2022. Currently, he chairs the infectious disease approval committee for the longitudinal knowledge assessment program at ABIM. From 2015 to 2021, Dr. Leung served as the infection control director at Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center in Akron, Ohio.
In his leisure time, Dr. Leung enjoys spending time with his family, tending to his yard, and cooking.
