Summary

• Anthony Boniello is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of hip and knee arthritis. He provides special expertise on knee and hip replacement surgery with an interest in anterior hip replacement, minimally invasive techniques, robotic surgery and outpatient joint replacement surgery. He completed his undergraduate degree in Physics and Engineering at Washington & Lee University. During this time he also enjoyed wrestling for four years, subsequently becoming team captain his senior year. Anthony graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 2015 in Philadelphia. He subsequently began his orthopaedic surgery residency at Hahnemann/Drexel, prior to returning to Jefferson for his chief year of residency. Anthony completed fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. He is particularly interested in applying his background in mechanical engineering to the study of material sciences and design of arthroplasty components. He enjoys snowboarding, camping and spending time with his family.
