Summary
- After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Biology, I worked as Lead Medical Assistant at a private dermatology practice before pursuing my medical degree at Texas A&M College of Medicine. I completed my preliminary year in Internal Medicine at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas and then began as the dermatology clinical research fellow at the Menter Dermatology Research Institute working with Dr. Alan Menter, a leader in psoriasis research. I served as the sub-investigator for numerous clinical trials in addition to writing and reviewing dermatologic manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals; publishing 20+ articles/book chapters during my time as a fellow. After completion of this 2-year clinical research fellowship, I continued my training in dermatology residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, completing my dermatology residency training at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas where I will begin on staff in the Fall of 2023.
