Summary
- After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Biology, I worked as Lead Medical Assistant at a private dermatology practice before pursuing my medical degree at Texas A&M College of Medicine. I completed my preliminary year in Internal Medicine at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas and then began as the dermatology clinical research fellow at the Menter Dermatology Research Institute working with Dr. Alan Menter, a leader in psoriasis research. I served as the sub-investigator for numerous clinical trials in addition to writing and reviewing dermatologic manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals; publishing 20+ articles/book chapters during my time as a fellow. After completion of this 2-year clinical research fellowship, I continued my training in dermatology residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, completing my dermatology residency training at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas as Chief Resident.
I began on staff in Fall 2023 at BSW Temple and continue to be involved with teaching medical students and residents, serving as Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine and Affiliate Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M College of Medicine.
