Summary

• Dr. White is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics and sees primary care patients at University Family Medicine - Squirrel Hill. In addition, Dr. White sees adult patients with Down Syndrome with the Down Syndrome Center of Western Pennsylvania. She is passionate about medical education and serves as the medical director of the student group, Street Medicine at Pitt, a student-run interdisciplinary organization that strives to bring healthcare and social support to the rough-sleeping and unhoused community in Pittsburgh, PA. She is interested in transitions in adults with childhood illnesses to adult primary care, including adult survivors of childhood cancers. She is active in research regarding street medicine in addition to dementia associated with Down syndrome. Dr. White is active in leadership as well, serving currently as President-Elect of the Medical Staff of UPMC Shadyside Hospital.
