- Dr. Ann (Deadrick) Murray, MD is a Neurologist based in Morgantown, WV, with a special interest Movement disorders. She completed her medical degree and graduate medial education at West Virginia University where she then started as faculty in 2016. Dr. Murray has been the neurology clerkship director for the School of Medicine since 2016 and has received several teaching awards within this role. In addition she was named the Comprehensive Movement Disorders Division Chief of the Rockefeller Neurosciences Institute in 2022. She has participated in ground breaking research in the field of neuromodulation specifically utilizing deep brain stimulation, high frequency focused ultrasound, and gene-therapy. In addition to her educational, clinical, and research roles, she is very active in state and national advocacy as she is currently a Delegate to the American Medical Association on behalf of the American Academy of Neurology. She additionally serves on the board of directors for the WV State Medical Association. She is passionate about making an impact in the patients she see's, the future generation of physicians, and the overall healthcare culture.
