Dr. Kellams specializes in newborn care and breastfeeding and lactation medicine. Her NIH-funded research has been published in various journals including Pediatrics, and Academic Medicine, and JAMA. Her research focuses on matnernal and child health, safe sleep and infant feeding, and interventions to promote health equity. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, has been inducted into the American Pediatric Society, is an alumnus of the Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine fellowship (ELAM) out of Drexel University, and is a graduate of the Physician Leadership Development Program (PLDP) through the Association for Medical School Pediatric Department Chairs (AMSPDC).
