- I am an advanced heart failure and transplantation physician who is also boarded in critical care medicine. My clinical and research interests include critical care cardiology, with a focus on cardiovascular hemodynamics, advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation.
I graduated with an MD from the University of Tennessee and completed my residency in Internal Medicine from Case Western University. After my cardiovascular diseases fellowship at the University of Kansas, I completed my fellowship in critical care medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and then my sub-specialization training in advanced heart failure and heart transplantation at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
