• Dr. Kumar is a board certified urologist, as well as a certified menopause practitioner, in New York City. After being in private practice for eight years, she founded Women's Urology New York, to redesign the urology experience for postnatal, perimenopausal, and postmenopausal women. The goal of Women's Urology New York is to offer women compassionate and comprehensive care in a welcoming space, where they can become well informed about their genitourinary issues and make informed decisions about their treatment options. Dr. Kumar specializes in urologic issues such as recurrent urinary tract infections, overactive bladder, stress incontinence, nocturia, painful bladder syndrome (interstitial cystitis), voiding dysfunction, incomplete bladder emptying, vaginal laxity, and genitourinary syndrome of menopause.
