Dr. Kyei completed her undergraduate work at Princeton University in Princeton, NJ and went on to get a Masters in Public Health (MPH)
at Yale University in New Haven, CT. Dr. Kyei attended medical school at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio and completed her dermatology residency at the Cleveland Clinic.
During her training at Cleveland Clinic, she served as Chief Resident and was elected
the first African American president of the Residents and Fellows Committee of the American Academy of Dermatology. She was also the recipient of several honors including the North American Hair Research Society (NAHRS) Mentorship grant and the Women’s Dermatology Society (WDS) Mentorship grant
