- Angel E. Caldera, MD, FSCAI completed his Vascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Training at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and completed his Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship Training at the Baylor Collegue of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He was the recipient of many performance awards, including the 2005 SCAI/Cordis Fellowship Award for Interventional Cardiology. He has several publications in peer review journals including the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal of the American Medical Association.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Caldera joined Scott and White in 2009 and he is currently the Medical Director of the Catheterization Laboratory at the Round Rock Hospital in Texas. He is also an Elected Member of the Board of Medical Director of the Central Division of the Baylor, Scott and White Health System, the largest non for profit healthcare organization in the state of Texas. He specializes and practices in Interventional Cardiology, Structural Heart Disease and Vascular Medicine.
