- I am a neurologist who specializes in geriatric neurology caring for elderly patients with neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body dementia, and Parkinson’s disease. I attended medical school i at the University of Campinas (Unicamp). I came to the U.S. to complete my residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; followed by a fellowship in geriatric neurology at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
