Summary
- Dr. Weber received his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Binghamton. He received his graduate MD from SUNY Jacobs school of Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, New York.
Dr. Weber did his residency back home on Long Island at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center, which soon became the flagship hospitals of Northwell Health. During his 3 years of residency, he developed a love of physiology and being able to treat patients in the extremes of illness. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Weber finished a 3-year fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care, spending 2 of the 3 years as a frontline physician during the COVID-19 Pandemic. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, and Advanced Critical Care Echocardiography.
Dr. Weber has a passion for research, having been motivated by his experiences during the pandemic and in the treatment of patients with Long COVID-19. Training at Northwell provided Dr. Weber with a unique experience in training extensively in whole body ultrasonography. He now teaches and lectures at a local, national and international level in this skill. He has authored chapters in the use of ultrasound and transesophageal echocardiography for the Pulmonologist and the Intensivist.
