Summary
- I am a clinical professor of emergency medicine at the Alpert Medical school of Brown University, where I have worked since 1994. My area of interest is Wilderness medicine, specifically ocean water sports such as surfing, sailing, and wing foiling.
For the last 20 years I have served as an expert witness in legal cases involving emergency medicine, drowning, water sports injuries, and cold-related injures.
I have lectured internationally on the above topics, published numerous studies in peer-reviewed journals, and served as physician on expeditions to Antarctica.
Prior clients include the US Naval Academy and NCIS.
