Dr. Andrew Jackson is an Emergency Medicine specialist based in Fort Gordon, GA. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in 2022, following his MD from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in 2019. His educational background also includes combat medicine training and a BS in Biology from the University of Houston. He is currently an Associate Professor at Augusta University and serves as a staff physician at Doctors Hospital of Augusta and Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Dr. Jackson has extensive experience in emergency medicine, including specialized procedures such as cricothyrotomy and thoracotomy, as well as trauma and emergency medical services. His work has been published in BMJ Case Reports, and he was awarded the Bronze Star from the USA in 2009 for his service as a Special Forces Medical Sergeant.
