- Andrew Chastain, MSPAS, PA-C is an Assistant Professor of PA Studies at Butler University within the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Mr. Chastain completed his PA education through the Stanford School of Medicine Primary Care Associate Program with Foothill College and holds a Master’s Degree in PA studies from Touro College, School of Health Sciences. Andrew first gained experience in caring for the neonatal population over his ten year career as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NPS). His PA career includes experience in Level IV neonatal intensive care nurseries at St. Vincent Women’s Hospital Indianapolis, Riley Children’s Hospital, as well as Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. Andrew previously held a Clinical Assistant Professor appointment within the Stanford University School of Medicine as a faculty member for the Stanford Master of Science in PA Studies Program.
Andrew is the Immediate Past President of Board of Directors to the Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants, and holds fellow membership in the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Physician Assistant Education Association. He has been involved in simulation based NRP and S.T.A.B.L.E. instruction since 2009.
