Summary
- I am a board certified rheumatologist and physician-scientist specializing in the care of patients with scleroderma. My research focuses on the interaction between immunity and fibrosis in scleroderma, identification of new biomarkers of disease, and development and validation of novel outcomes measures for clinical trials in scleroderma. I also serve as the Associate Program Director for the Rheumatology Fellowship Program. My work has been recognized with several awards, including the Walter A. Coyle Memorial Research Grant and Established Investigator awards of the Scleroderma Foundation, and the Tobé and Stephen E. Malawista, MD, Endowment in Academic Rheumatology of the Rheumatology Research Foundation.
