Summary
- I am deeply passionate about improving the care of older adults. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to enhancing clinical programs with a focus on quality improvement, ensuring that older adults receive the highest standard of care possible. In my current role, I co-chair the IHI Age-Friendly Steering Committee, where I help facilitate quality improvement initiatives across the four key domains of Age-Friendly Care: Mind, Medication, Mobility, and What Matters.
A strong advocate for the future of healthcare, I am also committed to training the next generation of healthcare professionals, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to provide excellent care to older adults. I have integrated geriatric principles and health system science education across medical school curricula. I have also had the privilege of mentoring numerous clinicians who have gone on to assume leadership roles across the country.
People often describe me as approachable, energetic, and a natural motivator. I pride myself on being solution-oriented and thrive in creating collaborative, team-driven environments where everyone can learn, grow, and achieve together.
