- Associate Professor Pediatric Pulmonologist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), AL, USA. He has American Board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology. He is board-certified by the Arab and Jordanian Boards in Pediatrics. He is the Medical Director of the Pediatric Pulmonary Hypertension Program and the Pulmonary Sickle Cell Cell program at the Children's of Alabama and UAB. He is a physician-scientist experienced in translational and clinical research on pediatric pulmonary diseases. His research focuses on factors affecting lung and pulmonary vascular development, pulmonary hypertension, and pulmonary complications of Sickle Cell Disease. He is an American Thoracic Society Fellow and a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, London. He has substantial clinical and educational achievements in pediatric pulmonary medicine. He is a member of the Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) clinic.
