Summary

  • I am a practicing, board certified Interventional Cardiologist with expertise in structural heart, coronary and vascular interventions. I am also Director of UW Health's ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction program. My clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of valvular heart disease, complex coronary artery and congenital heart disease, cardiogenic shock and advanced heart failure and peripheral artery disease.

    In addition, I am an independently funded clinician-scientist with research interests in cardiovascular regenerative medicine, interventional imaging and minimally invasive delivery of biologic agents for cardiac repair. Furthermore, I am an active national and site clinical investigator for numerous cell-based and gene-therapy based trials across the spectrum of advanced heart and vascular disease.
