Summary

• Worked in pharmaceutical companies managing/leading phase I-III trials of several new drugs or new uses or safety of already marketed drugs, since 1981. Served in the capacity of Vice President of Clinical Research in the last 7 years of my career, from 2004-2011. Managed several physicians and small to large clinical and operational teams. Lucky enough to see a few drugs get through the final stages of FDA approval and make it to the market! Average development period 12 years before coming to the market. My peds and peds. hem/onc fellowship trainings helped me tremendously for my career.). Retired since 2011; currently enjoying life, spending time with the family and traveling. The best advice I have received and would like to pass on the same to other physicians or anybody, in fact: if you can afford to retire early, JUST DO IT, before it is too late!
