  • Dr. Fayyazi received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He completed his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. His residency training in Orthopaedic surgery was completed at Penn State University/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and his fellowship in Spine Surgery at RUSH Medical Center in Chicago. He has most recently been an assistant professor at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. He has received his certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is an active member of multiple professional organizations including American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and North American Spine Society. He has extensive experience in treatment of traumatic spinal injuries, spinal deformity, and degenerative conditions of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, including the field of motion preservation. He is married and is a proud father of two young sons.
