Summary

  • I am a resident physician in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (Medpeds) at the University of Buffalo. I will be completing my residency in July 2027. I am interested in pursuing opportunities in both primary care and hospital settings in rural communities and small cities in the Western US. My ideal position would include caring for both children and adults in an inpatient setting.
Of note, because I am Canadian, I will need a J1 visa waiver in order to pursue this goal.
I am very active in my residency program, with involvement on multiple projects. I am in the Advocacy Track as the research coordinator for Medicine For Tomorrow, a resident-run group that runs healthcare-related workshops for kids in disadvantaged neighborhoods with the goal of promoting interest in healthcare careers. I am also working on a project examining the impact of deep suctioning in bronchiolitic patients on length of stay, am involved in the Pediatrics Residents Committee, the Code Committee, and act as a mentor for incoming residents. If you're interested in hearing more, feel free to send me a message!
Prior to medical school, I was a Registered Nurse in Canada with 6 years of experience in pediatrics, PICU and the emergency room. I also have experience as a charge nurse and nursing instructor.
For fun I enjoy anything that gets me outdoors including hiking, skiing, dirt-biking, and scuba diving.
