• Dr. Amanda Alvarez is a child and adolescent psychologist within the Department of Psychology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned her doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Alvarez then completed an internship at University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Health System. She then pursued a post-doctoral fellowship in psychology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
