- Alysen Demzik, MD, is a specialist in Reconstructive Urology who is currently employed at Rush Urology as an Assistant Professor. Demzik’s clinical interests include adult buried penis, genitoplastics, ureteral injury, urinary fistula, primary and revision gender-affirming genital surgery, urethral stricture, male urinary incontinence and urinary diversion. She utilizes robotic and minimally invasive approaches whenever possible to provide the highest level of care for patients with challenging reconstructive urologic issues. Demzik received her MD at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago and completed her urology residency at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, followed by a fellowship in Genitourinary Trauma and Reconstruction at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
