    After stepping down as Chief, Dr Ross earned certification in business, professional and team coaching. In addition, she serves as a consultant for children’s hospitals and is a site reviewer for the American College of Surgeons.
    After 32 years of practice, she is now retired but continues to engage in academic work as a Professor Emeritus of Duke University School of Medicine.
