• Dr. Allison Kinder Ross is an anesthesiologist based in Durham, NC, with a subspecialty in pediatric anesthesiology. She completed her medical degree at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in 1988, followed by an internship at Georgetown University Hospital, and a residency and fellowship in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins University.   After stepping down as Chief, Dr Ross earned certification in business, professional and team coaching. In addition, she serves as a consultant for children’s hospitals and is a site reviewer for the American College of Surgeons.
  After 32 years of practice, she is now retired but continues to engage in academic work as a Professor Emeritus of Duke University School of Medicine.
