She completed her medical education at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2008, followed by a residency in Anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 2008 to 2012, and a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at Seattle Children's from 2012 to 2013.
