  Dr. Nicholson studied biochemistry as an undergraduate at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Nicholson subsequently obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.
